Sonesta Simply Suites Seattle Renton

Not as close to the airport as I expected. That’s on me though I should have mapped it. Waited for the airport shuttle, called after about 15 minutes, was hung up on, tried calling four more times and no one ever answered. Finally we gave up and took the light rail and then a Lyft from there. When we arrived the check in clerk didn’t even bother to explain where our room was. The morning clerk however was super nice, professional and friendly. He booked us a Lyft since the shuttle was full. Room was clean and quiet.

We just stayed here for a few nights and we were overall very happy with our choice. The highlights of staying here were the room, the location, the parking, and the overall value for our money. The room was nice and clean, I believe we didn’t pay to park, and while this is down in Renton, its in an area that feels safe (just a couple of other business buildings and hotels in the immediate area with no foot traffic) but a quick drive to other restaurants and businesses and about 20 minutes from Seattle city center. The reason I am giving it only four stars is because the breakfast is an extra $30 a night and the hallways and lobby were kinda dingy and not very clean. If they kept up with these areas the way they do the rooms it would create an overall better atmosphere.

Our first time using Sonesta simply suites was a good experience. We reserved it as a day use and we're pleasantly surprised to find our room was spacious, clean and well equipped. The AC worked well, water pressure was great and the full kitchen had all necessary utensils. It would have been nice if it had a blender. It had dish soap, towels...the shower has shampoo, conditioner and body wash in pump containers on the wall. The outdoor pool was 78° which was a great temperature for our 90° day. The water was clean. The Lord willing, we will visit Sonesta simply suites again.

Just checked out after a 10-day stay, and I’m going to miss this place! Felt very at home here. The kitchen was well-stocked with tools, and had an oven, which was a huge plus! The whole property had a welcoming vibe, and the staff is very kind. Proximity to Seattle city and the airport is great.

The rooms was fantastic. It was nice and quiet and very peaceful there. The two thing I didn't like was when I book the room for an additional night I had to pay the deposit again. They said they couldn't apply/carry over the deposited that I had already paid for the previous night and that it could take up to 7/10 business days before I would receive that first deposit back. Thank god it didn't. I think it came back within 36 hours after I check out. The other was that they didn't serve breakfast for those who book their room at the simply suites but next door at the simply select they got breakfast service! Over all it's a great place to stay

We stayed 2 nights at the hotel, having a suite with kitchen was nice. Suite was nice and clean, some rooms have been updated, but older suites are definitely fine. There is laundry in each building, a nice updated gym and outdoor pool. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had an issue with the TV and problem was fixed within 15 minutes of letting the front desk know about it. Location area is not really walkable, as in, not much around without getting in the car and driving about. I would not have a problem returning and staying at this hotel.

The rooms are great. Full kitchen w/full size fridge, stovetop, oven, dishwasher. Spacious closets, etc. My only complaint and it's a big one is that it was filthy. Top of the fridge was thick with grease, shower had mounds of black hair. Nothing looked clean including fridge, microwave, dishes, toilet, sinks, floor. I spent 2 hours cleaning because I was afraid to touch anything or eat anything until I had washed all the dishes and sterilized the fridge, kitchen and bathroom. Front desk was nice and efficient but whoever cleaned my room should be fired no questions asked! I work on the service industry so it takes me a lot to fire shots at somebody knowing how hard it is to survive in today's world but this person doesn't care about my well-being or anyone's for that matter because this was the dirtiest hotel room id ever seen and I stay 5 days a week in hotels since I travel for work so that's saying a lot.

This hotel is incredible because of its price, location, atmosphere and cleanliness. Also there was a kitchen in our room so you can safe some money and make some food by yourself. My bf and I always stay here if we have a vacation in WA
